Today I took minutes at a Ladyfest meeting for the first time.
Okay, so this is not a very exciting one in itself (I've taken minutes before, I've been to meetings before) but the meeting itself was good and going along to get involved in organising this arts festival is very much in the spirit of doing new things and being more proactive with my time and applying myself to projects.
There's so much exciting potential for the tenth anniversary celebrations and I'm looking forward to getting more involved and helping to run a series of fantastic events.
We'll be looking for venues, comedians, artists, bands, volunteers and participants so keep your eyes and ears open for Ladyfest Ten news.
